Hi, My name is Greg Lynch and I am a sports coach at St Albans Catholic Primary School in Kings Heath, Birmingham. I've had the privilege of working with the children of this fantastic school for the past 3 years, and during this time we have worked hard to try and update, or improve their sports equipment, but as we all know, many schools are now under-funded and it is proving extremely difficult to find additional funds needed to bring in new equipment, or even just update existing.

I engage with the children using sport during lunchtimes, in PE sessions and when delivering after school clubs, so I recognise how important it is to have lots of good quality and varied sports equipment to ensure the children are getting the most from these sessions and been given the best opportunity to embrace the life skills that sport has to offer; team work, honesty, self confidence, leadership, all important skills that can be taken into adulthood.

And so this year on Sunday 7th May... I will be running the Great Birmingham Run 2023 for the children of St Albans Catholic Primary School. I will be running to raise money to help increase their PE Premium budget so that we can update existing equipment, and bring in new equipment such as basketball and tennis nets that will help enhance PE and lunchtime sport.

If you are able to give anything at all then I would be so grateful, if not, if you could please just give this page a share, that would be amazing too.
