I've raised £2500 to Help a community of black/queer creatives showcase their art

I am curating a community-based exhibition to help shine light on the work of black/queer creatives. These creatives continuously strive to produce thought-provoking pieces that celebrate the multifaceted essence of Blackness (being black).
Our identities are not solely derived from the nations we originate from, although they are a facet of our story. With this exhibition, I hope to showcase the resilient and innovative nature of Blackness (black people) whilst standing strong in the vulnerability that is sharing art. My goal is to create a longstanding and welcoming platform for QTBIPOC creatives to express their stories as authentically as they desire.
The exhibition will be a catalyst for the creation of ‘The Selah collective’, a platform aiming to champion underrepresented creatives from a range of disciplines and communities.
