As many people are aware Chris was taken into hospital on Wednesday 13th September, and was automatically taken to ICU where he was placed on life support, due to Septecemia and Bacterial Meningitis. Chris had multiple organ failure and was soon put on Dialysis as his kidneys had failed. Our family, and Doctors cant believe that Chris has managed to fight off 2 deadly diseases, after being told on 2 occasions that Chris was going to lose his life. Chris has since been taken out of ICU and put into a Renal Ward.
Although Chris has managed to survive this it has come at a high cost, Chris has unfortunately had to have both of his legs amputated from below the knees, due to non circulation and loss of pulses, which no 23 year old should ever have to go through in their life. When Chris DOES get better, himself and his partner Aimee are going to have to start again from the beginning, with a whole new persective on life We are currently looking to raise some funds, to help them in the future make things as stable, and comortable as possible. If anyone can understand how horrendous and traumatic this has and is for the family, and feel as though they have something to give, it would be greatly appreciated and the family would be forever greatful. This made even more heartwrenching at the fact Chris and his Fiance Aimee work in the caring sector, giving and caring for other people, on a daily basis.
