Iʼve raised £1,590 to Help Charlotte Neale (15) get to the European Youth Weightlifting Championships being held in Israel this December.

Story
Charlotte has been selected to represent Great Britain and compete at the European Youth Championships being held in Israel this December. The first ever athlete from Jersey to be selected by GB for weightlifting.
Charlotte is currently ranked no.1 in her category in Britain & is English/British Champion. She is already lifting weights that place her on the Commonwealth pathway standard & aims to make the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
The funds raised will cover the flights, accommodation & competition entry fees.
Any donation no matter how small would be gratefully received. Thanks

5 years agoFrom Charlotte It was a great feeling to represent Great Britain for the first time 🇬🇧 I know I have more in me but I’m pleased with how I did, my lifts Snatch 58✅60 ✅ 62 ❎ Clean & Jerk 70✅73✅75 ❎ I can’t wait to get back to training & improve them. 🏋️♀️ Thank you everyone who has helped me get here especially to my coach John Scriven, everyone at Jersey Sports Foundation, Keith Morgan from Crystal Palace Weightlifting, British Weightlifting, my teammates for their support & all the very kind people who donated towards the trip.

5 years agoAfter 3 flights Charlotte & some of the GB team have arrived in Eilat, Israel. We currently expect Charlotte to compete on Sunday & I will keep you all posted. Thank you all so much for helping to get her there. The support has been overwhelming.
