Story

The Government is trying to close the A&E ward at the Banbury Horton General. This will result it being more of a GP practice and a minor injury's unit despite Banbury being a busy and rapidly growing town.

The maternity unit has already been downgraded and now the potential closing of the A&E ward will result in the people of Banbury and its small villages being forced to go to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford for emergencies, 45 minutes away.

I'm raising money by undertaking a 4 day walk from the Horton to Parliament. The route is about 82 miles and it promises to be a exhausting and challenging experience.

In the above photo some of my friends and I, (who I will be walking with) can be seen at a protest march at Parliament in November 2016 to promote our cause.
