Whilst all is far from great by any means Jack is yet to make a backward step which is true testament to his incredible character. Thank you all for your continued support and messages of good will. The fluid on his lungs has dispersed and Jack is waiting to be visited by the neurosurgeon. The doctor we spoke to is expecting him to be “signed off” so to speak which is in itself fantastic news. If this is the case and provided there is a bed, Jack will be moved to the ITU of the islands main hospital. Here Jack will undergo further surgery to reconstruct his shattered left knee cap and possible surgery’s to his right knee and face but these are yet to be decided.

His recovery is going to be a long process but all Jack wants to do is come home. Hospitals can be very scary places especially those in a foreign country where communication is limited.
