Story
****PLEASE NOTE THIS PAGE IS NOW FOR DONATIONS ONLY WE CAN NOT ACCEPT ANYMORE TRUCK ENTRIES THAT WE HAVE NOT ALREADY AGREED****
Well ladies and gentlemen we are at it again!!!
Following the success of the last convoy me and nathan put together we thought it was time to do something for the children at Christmas time.
The way things are still with this pandemic hovering over us we thought we would do all we could to raise some money for 2 children’s charities. We need to put a smile back on these children’s faces showing that us truckers support them and everything in between.
Those of you who want to join convoy can donate. To enter it is a £20 minimum donation per truck ( anything more would be highly appreciated)
Please donate using your name/company so we can add you to the list of people entering
This convoy will be all above board with all the necessary authorities informed.
We are very grateful for your continued support and we hope to see you along the route.
East anglia children’s hospice (Each)
Our hospices aren’t just about end of life care; they’re often very happy and fun places, where young people can live life to their full potential. They are places where families feel safe, at home and where they can spend quality time together, enabling parents to be parents not caregivers.
We care for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk and support their families. Our family centred approach includes specialist nursing care, symptom management nursing, short breaks, wellbeing activities, therapies, counselling and volunteer services in the family home; all meeting the individual needs of the child, young person and whole family.
We offer families flexibility and control over where they receive their care and support, including where their child dies; at home, in hospital or at one of three hospices at Milton (Cambridge), The Nook (Norfolk), The Treehouse (Ipswich). More than half of our care and support is delivered in the family home and community, in surroundings familiar and comfortable for the family.

Action Duchenne
Duchenne muscular dystrophy is a rare genetic condition caused by mutations in the dystrophin gene, which prevent production of a vital muscle protein called dystrophin.
The lack of dystrophin makes muscles more susceptible to damage and leads to muscle wasting over time. People living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy experience progressive muscle weakness and typically need to use a powered wheelchair from their early teens.
The heart and breathing muscles are eventually affected and most will require a ventilator in their twenties; life expectancy is around 30 years but has improved with palliative care developments.
There is no cure.
MANY THANKS for taking the time to read this, please please donate to these worthwhile causes
