As the oldest 9 hole Golf Course in the world, Cupar Golf Club is a huge part of the local community and an important part of Golfing history.
In an attempt to raise funds for the club, Roddy Spence, Giancarlo Panetta and Marcus Rickard will play 161 holes on the 19th of June. The club opened in 1855 so we are attempting to play 1 hole for every year the club has been open.
As we have all been members of Cupar from a young age, we all feel that the club has done a lot to help us in this time. Thanks to this, we have decided to do our part and give something back to the club.
Starting before first light and going on throughout the day we will have to average around 2 hours per round and will walk close to 40 miles! It's going to be a tough one, but we'd love to raise as much money as we can for such a great little club.
