I've raised £10000 to help Centrestage Dance Academy compete in the World Dance Champions in New Jersey in August 2018. Money raised will help pay for flights.

On Saturday 12th May, fifteen pupils from our dance school aged 6 - 13 years old competed in Starpower, an International Dance Competition in Manchester. The competition was fierce with over 150 entries. Principle Natalie Tierney & Teacher Molly Street made the decision to enter the dancers and although they were confident on their ability to compete no one ever imagined the level of success the school achieved.
The team won numerous awards which was overwhelming including two prestigious golden tickets to compete at the World Dance Championships 2018 being held in New Jersey on 30th July to 5th August 2018. Competition is only granted to the best of the best globally and we are immensely proud of the pupils for being awarded these tickets.
The golden tickets offer the chance of a lifetime for the children but we have a very limited timescale in order to raise the funds needed to get us there. This is a very prestigious event, which is also broadcasted via live stream television globally.
In order to travel to America to compete at the World Dance Championships the team need to raise funds in the next few weeks to cover the cost. The team spent previous months fundraising to cover the entry fees, and travel costs to enable them to participate at the Manchester competition. During this time the children demonstrated their passion and commitment in the activities they performed to raise the funds.
We are hoping you can help us to reach out to the local community to see if anyone or any businesses would be interested in sponsoring us to help with the costs of reaching this competition.
We desperately want to represent the Halesowen /West Midlands/UK at this competition.
These children practice and work so hard at what they do as they want to be the best that they can be.
Please support these amazing children
