Cambridge Chesterton Indoor Bowls Club is a local community, non profit making club, with around 750 members and have been in existence since 1973.

Our members range from 10 years old right through to 100!

We cater for all ages and abilities.

As with many small sports clubs, we have been severely impacted by Covid 19. Although we have good reserves, these have and will continue to be adversely affected, by the limitations that the virus has placed on us.

We had to close the club before the end of last season, to protect our members health and are not in a position to reopen until early November this season.

Our wonderful existing members continue to support us, by paying their subscriptions, even if they have decided not to play due to the risks of the virus.

A number of our members have asked if they can also make donations to the club and some have very generously done so. Some have suggested that we set up a Just Giving page, to give others the chance to help if they would like to.

We were planning some major upgrades within the club, in the coming 12 months, but the reduction in income, caused by Covid 19, has made this very difficult. Any donations received will be put towards our club renovation fund.
