It is with great sadness that we are to hear that Katya Sofia (Catia Sousa) has passed away suddenly late evening 19th March 2022 at the young age of 26 in Sweden. She leaves behind her mother Maria, father Francisco and sister Silvia and niece Eloisa.

The family is shocked and saddened by this devastating, unexpected loss. If you knew Catia personally, you'd know how much of an impact she had on the lives of the people around her.

Whilst we are all struggling to come to terms with this loss, I feel that we can help ease the burden on the Sousa family by taking some of the burden off their shoulders. Due to the circumstances, they were unfortunately not prepared for this.

Whilst no amount of money can replace a loved one, we can come together in this exceptionally difficult time.

We are raising money to help with the transportation costs back to her home country of Portugal where the funeral arrangements will take place. Any further funds will be put towards the funeral costs themselves.

É com grande tristeza que ouvimos que Katya Sofia (Catia Sousa) faleceu repentinamente no final da noite de 19 de março de 2022, aos 26 anos, na Suécia. Ela deixa a mãe Maria, o pai Francisco e a irmã Silvia e a sobrinha Eloisa.

A família está chocada e triste com esta perda devastadora e inesperada. Se você conhecesse Catia pessoalmente, saberia o impacto que ela teve na vida das pessoas ao seu redor.

Embora todos estejamos lutando para lidar com essa perda, sinto que podemos ajudar a aliviar o fardo da família Sousa, tirando parte do fardo de seus ombros. Devido às circunstâncias, eles infelizmente não estavam preparados para isso.

Embora nenhuma quantia de dinheiro possa substituir um ente querido, podemos nos unir neste momento excepcionalmente difícil.

Estamos arrecadando dinheiro para ajudar com os custos de transporte de volta ao seu país de origem, Portugal, onde serão realizados os preparativos para o funeral. Quaisquer fundos adicionais serão destinados aos próprios custos do funeral.
