Story
Hi, I am Emma, owner of Bookshop on the Hill in Caterham. This year I am raising funds to sponsor books for children, older people and vulnerable adults as a Christmas day gift from the community.
All proceeds will go towards buying new fiction, non-fiction, craft and activity books, as well as jigsaw puzzles from Usborne Books!
We have partnered with The Westway centre in Caterham along with other local organisations to ensure the books are distributed to local families and isolated adults.
Please give what you can, if you can, by November 30th so that we can order and distribute the books in time for Christmas. Any further donations after this date are very welcome and all will go toward books for local children in January.

4 years agoA huge thank you for the generous donations so far. I'm donating my commission and matching your pledges so every £1 donated means at least £2 on books! I've been able to source books from as little as 88p so even small donations are very welcome. I've got a big box of books to deliver to The Westway check out the selection below. Can I ask a favour? Please share this page link to everyone you know and encourage them to donate. I really want to have a Christmas book bonanza for Caterham this year! Lots of love Emma, your local Book Santa
