It feels like weeks since my last update- so much has happened in relatively few actual hours. What I can continue to say is a huge and genuinely heart felt thank you from the entire team who are working nearly all hours day and night to help people who have lost EVERYTHING. The language barrier is massive. Your money has helped to house refugees when they have nowhere to go and to explain what their urgent medical needs are through translators when they desperately needed help. Guys, this is an absolutely incredible amount of donated money and will make a real difference to people's lives today. I've booked 2 apartments this morning, one with two bedrooms. This means that at least 3 families will have 2 nights in hotels due to your donations. That's 2 days to collect their thoughts, 2 days to rest, 2 days to grieve in private. It also means it leaves 18 spaces in a refugee centre for people still arriving. Thank you so so much, from everyone involved both in the UK and Poland.
