Story

Grimsby food kitchen is a local organisation helping the homless and less fortunate people of grimsby. They rely entirely on donations. Not only do they provide homecooked and nutritious meals for the guys , but it is a safe and non judgemental environment where they can come for a chat with unlimited hot drinks. Cath and ken that run the kitchen will welcome everybody that comes through their door with a big smile and one of their famous hugs. They both work tirelessly with people that have addictions taking them and supporting them whilst at rehab. And giving them the support at such a critical time in their journey to recovery. Us volounteers decided to get togther along with some of the guys that are now in recovery and some of the people that use the kitchen and do a challenge. So we have decided to walk the coastal walk from donna nook via cleethorpes and back to the kitchen again. This is approx 20 miles and we think will take us 6 hours ish……

Walk date 20th march 2022

This means so much to us volunteers as we see first hand what the kitchen means to all of the people that visit us

So please if you can help us kick 2022 off to a great start and help us raise such important funds for the GFK. We will be forever grateful to each and everyone that can help us.
