Story
On Monday 24th April there was devastating fire at Mr Chips, Marple Town Centre. Wayne, who owns the shop tirelessly makes sure he supports this community, providing support regularly to community groups or spreading his kindness to individuals offering free food when required. Wayne has had a tough couple of years and this community would like him to know how much we think of him, and value his amazing business.

2 years agoI am planning on closing the fund on Monday (8th May). I would just like to say to you all what a fantastic bunch of supporters you are! The original target was £500, hopefully just to be able to give Wayne a bit of help after the devastating fire whilst he was away. I can tell you, he has been blown away by your generosity, and especially the messages you left him. We can’t wait for the time we can tell you he is reopening, but until then, thank you for being such an amazing community!
