Colchester Institute will be sending a team out to Goa in March to support the staff and spend time working within the Novi Survat Charity. I along with another SH team member have been selected as representitoves on behalf of Seymour House to join the team.

Novi Survat is a UK based charity and it runs starting point for children aged between 2 and 6 years growing up in the slums and they also run a centre providing physiotherapy for children with physical dissabilites. Novi Survat has links with the Damedem care home which provides a home for children suffering from HIV or have been orphaned by the disease.

On our trip out to Goa we will be joining their team to help where we can, to plan some trips for the children and taking gifts for them as well. We will be using money donated to buy resources needed by both Starting point and the special needs centre.
