The support for children not eligible for Free School Meals but whose families are still struggling because of Covid-19 is lacking. We are raising money this month to support those children with food for a week. Through summer we provided 23,500 lunches to children in Carlisle. Last night the government indicated it will not continue the support it once provided so we are rolling out our scheme again.
