UPDATE Sept 18th 2019

Hi everyone,

I can confirm that Carl’s funeral will take place on Friday 27th September. The service will be held at St Mary’s Church Cowes at 2.15pm followed by the Crematorium Newport at 3.45pm.

I will let you know about the venue for the wake as soon as it has been confirmed.

We would all love to see as many of you there as possible, as we say goodbye to our gorgeous gentle giant in style. Please feel free to wear your loudest and wackiest shirts/clothes as these were Carl’s favourite kind and he want this to be a celebration with lots of bright and bold colours.

Family flowers only but if you would like to make a donation to the Earl Mountbatten Hospice that would be greatly appreciated as this was a charity close to Carl’s heart.

Carl Crawley passed away from a sudden heart attack while on holiday in Spain on Tuesday 20th August 2019, at just 40 years old.

Carl was a larger-than-life doting dad of 3 and much loved husband. A Welsh rugby fanatic with a bellowing voice and sense of fun, and a highly-regarded member of the local tech and business community. His sudden and shocking death has left his young family devastated.

We would like to make sure Carl gets the send-off he deserves, and provide his family with some support as they find themselves without their provider and protector.

Rest in peace Baldy, we hope the Dark & Stormies are all-inclusive up there x
