UPDATE: Following fundraising efforts from staff and relatives within the home we have managed to raise a further £2800.00 to help fund a magic table for our Residents.
As a result of this amazing effort we have updated our fundraising target to reflect this.

Our aim at Canmore Lodge is to facilitate to the best of our ability an environment that enhances Residents wellbeing. The magic table was demonstrated in the home and the response was overwhelming. This is a pivotal piece of equipment that can really make an impact on our Residents day to day lives.

From the Relatives:
As relatives of residents living with advanced dementia at Canmore Lodge Nursing Home in Dunfermline we are always looking at ways to improve the wellbeing and quality of life for our loved ones. The Tovertafel is a ceiling mounted box that projects images onto the table below. These images respond to movement which allows the residents to move the image. EG: Sweeping leaves across the room or throwing a ball.
