    Story

Rob and the Campany family have been part of Higham Town Football Club for many years. It has been emotional for us all to learn that Rob is now fighting cancer and know the financial strain this will put on the family during his fight…. and fight rob will!

Let us all come together as one football family, regardless of if you are part of Higham Town or not. It’s amazing how just a few pounds will help them day to day and remove some level of stress in their lives.

We could write pages upon pages of stories regarding Rob, Jayne and his 6 boys Ben, Jack, Sam,Charlie, Jamie and Harry. He really is a fantastic guy with great energy who is willing to help anybody, now its our turn to help him!.

Here are some kind words from Trevor and Stuart, both are coaches at our club and have known the Campany family for years. Please take the time to read what this family means to them and we all echo our support throughout Higham.

    Trevor Warner:

“I have had the pleasure of being involved with the Campany's even going back to being in the same school as Jayne. I have coached Jack Charlie and Jamie and also have Charlie on the U16s coaching staff currently!.

I first met Rob many years ago when I started out playing for Irthlingborough rangers and remained friends throughout the years. When I came to Higham 10 years ago Rob was playing for the 1st and reserve teams, he has always had Higham at heart and also played across the water for Finedon.

Over the years all 6 boys have played for Higham and Rob and Jayne have always been supportive of the club from fundraising, helping other parents, maintenance work and in the café just to name a few. I have lost count the number of times that they have helped with assisting other parents with lifts or provided advice to others who have needed a supportive chat or cuddle.

This is a real blow to the family, and I would like to ask you to try and give big or small, any amount will help them with the challenging times ahead whilst Rob Jayne Ben Jack Sam Charlie Jamie and Harry come through this. Thank you”

    Stuart Munton:

"The moment I first met Rob and his amazing family was during the time I was helping the U18’s with Karen Bright. His son Ben was playing in the under 18’s at the time and such a pleasure to work with.

Rob I got to know on and off the pitch when I was also playing for the Adults. Rob was such a positive influence and always there if I needed to talk or provide advice on how I could improve. I can’t remember a time where Rob or his family were not at the club helping in some capacity! They really are part of the furniture, or should I say containers!.

When I first took over the reserves team, Rob was my pillar of strength. He was always on hand to provide guidance, which as a young manager at the time really helped me a lot. I will always be thankful for how he supported me.

The family have been at the club for a very long time and you will not find a more supportive set of people. Jayne for instance washing the adult kits every week without fail for over 5 years. The fact that all their kids have played at the club is testimony to their support, now its time for us to support them during this difficult time."

I hope those short stories of the impact Rob and his family have had on the club have helped provide you with some insight.

Your support big or small could go miles in helping Rob and his family with this fight! Let's all stand together and hold them up during this challenging time. If you are unable to donate, we would appreciate you sharing this page with people you may know.

    Kind Regards

Higham Town Football Club Committee and Coaches
