I've raised £500 to support In Charley's Memory.

Approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year.
I am completing a 15,000ft skydive on the 15th July 2023 with an aim to raise money for In Charley's Memory - a local charity who provide 1 on 1 counselling sessions to those who need support. In Charley's Memory aspires to make support services to young adults (11-25yrs) with mental health conditions more accessible and to help raise the profile of mental health. They have recently opened up their service to those aged 26 and over!
I am choosing In Charley's Memory as I myself have experienced difficulties with my own mental health and was fortunate enough to receive counselling with them. I am incredibly passionate about supporting those who suffer from mental illness and want to help make an impact to people's lives by raising money for this fabulous charity so people can continue getting the support that they need.
Over 50% of people with mental illness don't receive the necessary support. This is often due to individuals avoiding or delaying treatment as they fear they will be treated differently as a result of stigma, prejudice, and discrimination. It is not uncommon for those who experience mental health problems to be marginalised and so it is important to me that more awareness is raised regarding mental illness so that those who are suffering can stop feeling ashamed of reaching out for help.
It is also important to me that every individual feels valued, respected and knows they are not alone. Nobody deserves to suffer in silence.
Please feel free to donate money to help support ICM. Help make a difference to the lives of those who are struggling.
