After a weeks holiday in Mablethorpe for our George, his big brother Deacan, baby sister Polly-Anna, mum and dad, he’s back in hospital for 10 days for start of his 6 month long antibody treatment that’s meant to target cancer cells and make them normal but it’s known to cause a lot of pain... He’s been given morphine today because he’s been crying in pain from head to toe😢💔 After a good few weeks back in normality it’s heartbreaking to see him back this way but he takes it all in his stride and fights every day! We love you baby, so proud!💛

Tomorrow this little warrior starts his 6 weeks of intense chemotherapy, he will have Monday-Monday (7 days) of constant chemotherapy and then will spend 5 weeks in recovery due to it completely breaking down his immune system. The most recent results have shown that his tumour has infact shrunk, however, it is currently still inoperable as it is still wrapped around his main artery. His survival rate has increased from 30% to 50% - he’s fighting so much and he’s been so brave! On behalf of our entire family, we are so grateful for the support!

George is due to have an MRI scan on the 12th Feb and depending on results, there’s a slim possibility (we’re clinging on to) that it could be operated on if the tumour has drastically shrunk. If not, he will undergo high intense chemo followed by 6 weeks in the hospital in his own room due to the chemo being that toxic that it will wipe out all of his cells and he’ll be prone to every infection. At the minute he’s up and down bless him, but he’s home now until the big scan and we will keep everything crossed for positive results!! 🤞🏼💛
