Story

7 Year old Caeden is going to walk up BEN NEVIS!!
Caeden was born 12 weeks early, he was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and his life began with huge struggle, stress and a feeling of the unknown. We were getting professional help with, physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, speech and language, the list goes on. Caeden was very lucky to have had all the help and support he got. Things like, adaptable / custom made chairs, splints, tricycle, pushchair, shoes, again a never ending list.
Caeden is now 7 years old, a very happy boy, who tries his very best not to let his disability stop him from keeping up with his 2 older siblings and his friends. Although at birth we were told Caeden would not be able to sit, walk or talk, he has pushed himself to be the fantastic character he is today. He walks, sometimes using a walking frame / stick, he plays as any other 7 year old would do, and has an amazing personality. He told us that he is so lucky for all the things he has had in his life, that he wants to give back. Caeden is on a mission to walk up Ben Nevis. (The highest Mountain in the British Isles...1,345metres above sea level ). He has been training hard, his physio are happily encouraging such a task and he will be having another round of Botox in his leg just when lockdown is lifted. Botox is another addition to the multiple treatments caeden has to help his mobility and this really works.
Money raised here will help Caeden complete his personal mission and give back to the amazing NHS -Children's services and the physiotherapy department and SCOPE. We couldn't be more happy with the care and attention Caeden gets from the Health services in and around Corby and Kettering. Caeden wants to raise the money to enable others to have the opportunities, and access the amazing treatments he has had.
