It is with immense sadness that we report the heartbreaking loss of our brother and friend Charles Mack.

He was a truly amazing man. A loving husband to his wife Elizabeth and wonderful father to their three beautiful children Ayisha, Charles Jr and Alana.

He was the perfect friend, always there when you needed him and willing to help anyone.

His loss will be felt by so many people. His family and friends and his brothers at both the Cambridgeshire Cats and the Bedfordshire Blue Raiders.

His family, friends and the Cats would like to thank each and every one of you for your sympathy, kind words, thoughts and prayers. The outpouring from the football community both in the UK and beyond has been overwhelming and words cannot convey how much he will be missed.

Charles was an amazing man with a loving family and friends. We are all struggling to come to terms with his passing and ask that you continue to respect his family's privacy at this difficult time.
