Story
Who?
Burgh Primary School's Parent Council has launched an ambitious appeal to raise £1 for every child who has attended our school since its opening in 1875!
What?
Burgh PS fundraiser- 'The Playground Project' - will help complete long-overdue works to one of the Scottish Borders' largest primary schools.
Why?
In today's modern world our children need as many opportunities for healthy, positive and fun outdoor play.
Over 200 children attend Burgh Primary - which also opens its doors to Brownies, Live Borders Activities & After-School Club- yet very little funding has been allocated to developing the fully tarmac-ed playground the last 144 years!
Burgh Primary Parent Council have gained generous grants from National Lottery Awards For All, SBC Community Grants and The Hayward Sanderson Trust.
Burgh PS are now seeking support from our amazing community.....
Please help us build our children a childhood to remember and donate what you can in memory, celebration or support of Burgh PS children.
