Burford School PTA is delighted to be involved in an exciting project designed to deliver a new astroturf facility for the school.

Burford School already has a good number of sports facilities but is constantly looking ahead and aspiring to deliver further opportunities for its pupils, and if possible also for the wider community.

The proposed new pitch will not only deliver a competition quality training surface for students studying hockey, but will also be floodlit, all-weather, and compatible with multiple sports, including sports for people with disabilities, enabling the school to deliver greater sporting experiences for all its pupils throughout the year.

The school is looking at a number of funding opportunities and the PTA has been specifically asked if it could help with raising money for the equipment and additional features and accessories for the pitch which are vital to the overall experience by the players, organisers and spectators.
