Iʼve raised £18,389 to support victims of the 2020 Christmas Flooding

    Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, UK
Funded on Friday, 23rd April 2021

    Story

On 23 December 2020 Buckingham experienced the worst flooding in some time.

Residents from across the town have been affected severely.

The impact of flooding on this scale is devastating at the best of times but it's the last thing people need just before Christmas and at the end of a challenging year for everyone.

    Please give generously.

All funds raised will provide support to residents over Christmas. Funds will be distributed at the discretion of Buckingham residents to those most in need.

Not everyone has insurance, not everyone can afford an excess, not everyone has the capacity to deal with this level of devastation.

Dear donors, We have reached that point in any fundraising campaign where people begin to forget about the devastation or have started thinking about other things. A simple share or message asking others to give will make a huge difference. If we can get to £20k, we can pay for everyone to have the right flood defences in the future and cover the costs of damage, repair, insurance excess, accommodation expense etc. On behalf of all those impacted by the recent flooding, thank you all so much for your generosity and best wishes for 2021. Dean
