National government education cuts have meant that our school's budget has to stretch further than ever. The less pupils on roll means the less money the school receives.

Bleasby School Friends Association (BSFA) is a registered charity that aims to raise money to help fund our lovely little village school. We are primarily run by a group of six parents who are trustees but have 'friends' who are parents that help the charity on a more ad-hoc basis. Our aim is to help reach the vision of Mr Mensah, our School Head, of providing our children with a varied and enriching education.

Since our charity was formed in 2008 we have raised money for Bleasby school in various different ways; from school discos, cinema nights, Christmas and Summer fairs, our village shows, and much more. Unfortunately, Covid19 restrictions have prevented us from running any of our usual annual or special events for the majority of 2020 leaving our school short of much needed financial support that we would normally provide.
