Hi, we’re Brumous and we’re hoping to raise some Christmas funds for North West food banks and homeless charities!

We want to raise as much as possible for local projects who will be helping those who will really be feeling the cost of living crisis over the festive period. It’s awful to think of how many families will be struggling to make ends meet, whilst there are so many financial and societal pressures over Christmas.

We want to be able to take some of that pressure off. Every penny that is donated to this fundraiser will be used to buy food supplies for Manchester Central Food Bank as well as local projects that help their communities with food and housing. If we can, we also want to buy hats, gloves, warm socks and other helpful items for those who will be dealing with homelessness over the next few months as temperatures start to really drop.

Manchester Central Food bank have published a reverse advent calendar that we will be trying to abide to- (please see below!) but if we can, we’d also like to send some Christmas treats in our donations. Just because people are struggling doesn’t mean they aren’t deserving of the foods a lot of us will be celebrating with.
