Story
Brook Cricket Club has been the home to many many cricketers down the years, all of whom have enjoyed the privilege of playing at one of the finest cricket grounds in England. Whether you played for the club 60 years ago, 30 years ago or turn out each week for the club now, you will know that the club has a special place in people's hearts, including many opposition players, who have also appreciated the beautiful ground and scenery.
Like many organisations, the club has suffered with its fundraising activities due to the ongoing pandemic, so a decision was taken to launch an online funding campaign to make sure that the club sees its way through 2021 and can look forward to being on firm financial footing going into 2022.
We are calling on the entire Brook Cricket Club community, both past and present to chip in with whatever you can to boost this fundraising activity.
You can choose to donate any amount you wish. Donations start from £2 and there is no upper limit. Donate the sum you wish by either selecting one of the amounts in the boxes at the top or by entering your chosen contribution in the big box. Any donation amount, no matter how large or small will make a difference.
For those donating £150 or more, you will receive a framed Brook Cricket Club print of the ground and the Pirrie Hall to remind you of your finest moment or most cherished memory of playing or being at the ground. This is the print which will come in a high quality frame:
We'd like to ask everyone donating to this cause to share this page with anyone you feel may also want to contribute by clicking on the "Share page" button.
This campaign will end at midnight on Monday 31st May 2021 whereupon all proceeds will be sent to Brook Cricket Club's bank account. The Committee will make a final announcement in June 2021 regarding the exact net sum raised (which will be the total funding on this page, less the cost of the framed prints, less the cost of the admin fees to process the payments on this site).
On behalf of the Committee, we would like to thank you for your generosity and support in marketing this fundraising activity.
