Story
Dear Friends, family and supporters,
We invite you to be a part of a life-changing journey, one thats close to our hearts and minds. Coinciding with movember we feel like it's time to make a difference for those battling the daily challenges of mental health conditions and in support of Freddie we have chosen to fundraise for narcolepsy as well.
Mental Health Matters: Mental health conditions affect millions worldwide, yet the stigma surrounding them persists. Our mission is to break the silence within our small group and to help promote being more open with the homies as well as important charities like mind.
Our journey is trekking from the harsh environments of the Bristol Downs, venturing through all sorts of terrains, crossing the severn bridge and finishing in Cardiff central.
Narcolepsy Awareness: Narcolepsy, a chronic sleep disorder, often goes undiagnosed and misunderstood. We aim to raise awareness, fund research, and support individuals living with narcolepsy, like one of our own, Freddie, the sleepiest one in the group...
Freddie's been diagnosed with narcolepsy for 9 years now, a year of which was filled with uncertainty and confusion due to difficulty diagnosing. As there is no cure for the disorder, he is constantly challenged with excessive daytime sleepiness and the social constrained/barriers this brings. Your donations will go to invaluable and essential research and support to help find a cure.
Please support the fierce challenge we have set upon ourselves as we get ready for the dreaded day of December 2nd. We will be donating 100% of donations.
