Story
The pool at Bridgnorth Endowed Leisure Centre has been closed since September 2016, meaning that Bridgnorth currently has no swimming pool. It was originally closed for changing room renovations during which builders discovered 'unforeseen structural issues'. The local council are currently not offering any financial support, however the Department for Education has contributed enabling contractors to start work on repairs.
The pool is used on a regular basis by a huge number of people in the community and whilst Halo and the school have been working extremely hard to raise enough money for the work to be fully completed additional funds are still required to the value of approximately £70,000.
Please donate what you can and together as a community we can help to get this essential facility open again.
For further information please contact Susan Underhill, Director of Business and Finance at Bridgnorth Endowed School on 01746 762103.
Thank you.

I am a Bridgnorth parent who wants to see the pool open again so my children can carry on with their swimming lessons. I strongly believe that my children should learn to be good swimmers because one day these lessons may help to save their lives.
