I am aiming to walk 100 miles in a month to help raise some vital funds for the Cippenham Royal British Legion Club.

The Club is located on Brook Path in the heart of Cippenham village. We lease the property from the Royal British Legion. The Club was established in September 1948 and started life as an old Nissen Hut.

The property needs some major TLC. We have a leaking roof, which we have patched repaired over the years, but really needs full replacement, the carpark requires new tarmac and disabled bays allocated and the main toilet block requires reconfiguring to enable the installation of a second disabled toilet.

A new heating system to reduce our carbon footprint is also on our wish list at Cippenham Royal British Legion-Club well as the installation of air conditioning, for those few weeks in the year when we are all complaining that it's too hot lol!

It's a big ask, I know, but whatever money we can raise towards any of the projects, would be greatly appreciated. Every penny really will help towards achieving our goal, which is to ensure Club is around for many years to come.
