Story

Roy Gardner, former Shop Keeper and Taxi Driver passed away on October 18th after a battle with Cancer. After 2 successful battles, the 3rd was one too many. As my Dad gave over 40 years of his life serving the Exhall & Bedworth Communities, we would like to raise money in his memory to help the Armistice Day Parade keep running every year. This year, we have been invited to lay a wreath at the 11/11 parade on behalf of my Dad, and all his comrades who served on HMS Warrior and were used to test what would happen during an Atomic Bomb test at Christmas Island. Almost all the men who served on the Warrior, have since died from Cancer related diseases... So the day will mean a lot more this year.... We Will Remember Them.
