    Story

This beautiful little 1 year old boy has recently been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of bone cancer (Alveolar Rhabdomyscarcoma Stage 4). This has been a massive shock to his whole family.

They all have a long road ahead with treatment for the little man, commencing immediately. The journey has only just begun and will understandably be all consuming for them all throughout the treatment plan. There has been and will be countless hospital visits and stays for Link and Mum over the coming months. The treatment plan is aggressive and initially planned for the next 18 months.

The campaign is not to raise money to the fund the treatment itself, but it is to raise money to compensate for the additional bills that come with caring for a child with cancer and for the extended periods away from work for both parents. They are trying to keep a semi normal routine for their 2 Girls which means constant trips to and from Alder Hey Children's Hospital.

Any support you are able provide would be greatly appreciated. Any funds raised that aren't required by the Simpson Family will be re-donated to a Child Cancer Group.

Thank you for your support and reading our story.

Our wee boy Link has stated radiotherapy this week on the 11/03/2020. The treatment schedule is pretty relentless and will last until the end of April, but so far logistical working out. We have been blown away by the support that we have received in messages and donations. With the recent nomination to be the official sponsor page for 15 Atlas Copco UK employees taking on the Ultimate in Nuclear Events later this year we are so very great full. A huge thank you to each and everyone who is here with us..

Wow, we have been blown away by the amazing people that have donated and shared our story. Next week is a big week for us and we will learn if Link is for able to receive the third major chemo in his treatment plan. It has also been a busy week for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital as the festive season has begun. Link has been included in the Hospital Wreath competition on the Ward 3B wreath. Bottom Left.
