After the great work and kindness that the local community showed Bradford Town FC in the summer, the first team Squad led by Davo, Lyno and Deacs have decided that they want to try and give something back during this new period of lockdown.

They have decided to collectively run from John Of Groats to lands end, as distance spanning 867 miles during the 4 weeks of lockdown, in the hopes of raising some money which they can donate to a local charity.

The charity that the lads have chosen is The Hub in Bradford on Avon. The Hub provide food from their food bank, financial support and guidance as well as helping people get back into work who have fallen on hard times. You can find a link to their website here - https://www.boahub.co.uk/

The lads have asked if you can sponsor them with any amount, big or small then after completing this challenge money will be donated in early December to help with the festive period.

We will post updates throughout the 4 week period to keep you updated with the progress as the lads set out on completing many miles between them.

Whether you like running or don’t, like Bradford and the lads or don’t, this is a really great local charity who would benefit from some support. Something which we are hoping to give. If you can donate something then please do.
