Help! Bognor Regis Men‘s Shed must get get back on its feet after intruders broke in, stole power tools, materials and caused untold damage to property and equipment.

Men’s Shed exists to provide a safe haven for men and women in our community, a welcoming hub to come and enjoy practical activities or work on personal and community projects. We reach out to men from all walks of life, many of retirement age, helping them combat isolation, loneliness and depression by providing social activities. We have fun banter, woodwork in relaxed informal workshop environments, plus tea and coffee chats. We tackle mental health issues in a unique way. By working shoulder to shoulder we find our members talk to each other in a way they wouldn’t be comfortable to do anywhere else. This leads to a better quality of life, it gives back a sense of purpose and addresses health concerns.

Our ’Shedders’ need local support more than ever to provide a safe, secure shed venue. We are fund raising to repair damage to our workshop and doorways, and secure areas after intruders forced their way in stealing valuable tools and equipment.
