Story

Story
Guru Nanak was the founder of the Sikh faith.
One of the 3 core principles of the Sikh faith that Guru Nanak taught us is that Share what you have, with the people in need. And that everyone is entitled to free food. No one should go hungry.
Guru Nanak started a Free Kitchen over 500 years ago,
( Langar) Free food for all mankind.
As Guru Nanak believed that No one should go hungry. Till this very day the Langar ( Free Kitchen) is still operating all over the world. Usually at a Sikh Temple. Inrecent years Sikh Communities across the world have been taking the Langar (Free Food) to the streets where people in need of all faiths can benefit from the Free food Kitchen.

We are blessed to be operating a Guru Nanak Free Kitchen Service right here in Middlesbrough.
We have a group of 4 teams with 4 team leaders, who prepare and serve the Langar(Free Food) every Sunday. With God's grace, we have been providing free food every week for the last 8 years for the Homeless and the people in need.
I have a passion for running. As one of the team leaders, I decided to use my passion to raise funds to help operate the Middlesbrough Guru Nanak's Free Kitchen Service for the Homeless and the people in need.
Please sponsor my 10K run to help to feed the homeless and the people in need.
God bless.
Bob Singh.
