For 30 years my lifestyle choices took so much from animals - and although for the last 5 years I've been trying to make up for that, I wanted to do more. That's why for the 1st time in my life, I'm running a marathon!

I'll be running the Suffolk marathon on 19th October, and training has already begun. Before training, I'd only once run further than 10k, so at 36 this definitely is a challenger for me, but one I'm willing to give my all for in order to raise money for this sanctuary.

For those of you that do not know about Hugletts, they are an amazing sanctuary that rescue animals from a life of doom - a life where they'd be sentenced to death so early in their natural life span. At Hugletts they get to live their whole lives out in peace, and this money will help support the sanctuary's continued running costs, and help them build a new barn for rescued lambs, giving them a safe home to recover and grow in before they are introduced to one of the two flocks of sheep who live there.
