I suppose I've been supporting the Enough is Enough campaign and the Jay Lennon Foundation for 9 months now ; and started supporting not because I knew Anna Kerrigan or that Jay’s Uncle is Paul Gascoigne but because the story of Jay's short life moved me in such a way I wanted to do more than just buy a scarf ; I had already made the decision to raise money for Doncaster Mind who I'm a volunteer befriender for the third year running ; and thought why not also raise money for the Jay Lennon Foundation as well so that's what I'm doing ; I had no idea I had the power to persuade Hugh Shriane and Julia Naydene-Frances both of whom I'm yet to meet, amongst others to join me on the 15th July to trek 26 miles around the three highest Peaks in Yorkshire
