The Blue School is the largest school in Somerset with 1800 pupils currently. It has provided education for many, many children over the years and has been a large part of our community as a result.

Due to the recent discovery of serious structural issues within the Kennion Building, 20 classrooms, halls, social spaces and cafes have become unuseable. This has left space in the Milton side of the school overwhelmed and subsequently covered space is needed outside for social times for students - especially during this cold, wet weather.

As a community, the majority of whom will have been involved with the school for our children's (or our own) education, it would be an amazing gesture if we could fundraise the remaining £30,000 required for the materials and construction of this much needed outdoor covered area .

We are a solid community, and good people. We can do this and raise the money if we pull together.
