Blairgowrie Junior Football Club's fundraiser, Ian McDonald, is planning a 31 Day Challenge throughout the month of October to raise funds for a defibrillator. This is for all the member teams of the Blairgowrie and Rattray Community Football Club. The need for the Blairgowrie and Rattray Community FC to have a defibrillator was discussed at the recent Annual General Meeting of Blairgowrie JFC.

Ian will cover a total of 680,000 steps by walking, running or on the cross trainer during the month of October 2017. The steps average at 22000 per day which is 12000 in excess of the recommended adult daily average. The distance Ian hopes to cover will be circa 350 miles/560km. This is equivalent to return distance between Ian's home in Dundee to Blairgowrie 9 times.

Ian wants to complete this tough 31 day challenge to raise the funds to equip the Blairgowrie and Rattray Community Club with a defibrillator.
