I've raised £30000 to Help our Clydesdales future, the virus has been devastating to us we cannot work for our own income and we need raise £5000 per month

Blackstone is home to 29 Clydesdale Horses, 1 Percheron, Bob the pig, Bubbles the Donkey, MiniMe the ram, Carlos and Hayden the Alpaca boys, the Highland girls and boys as well as all our feathered friends. The Clydesdales made their own living by inviting guest to visit, work, ride or drive them in harness. Since COVID-19 hit our shores our visitors have gone to zero. We need your HELP to survive until our Clydesdale Horses are able to make their own way in the world again. We are looking to raise £5000 every month we are closed to guests to keep all our feathered four legged family, fed, shoe'd and medicated. All moneys raised will go toward health and welfare of Blackstone Heavy Horses.
A little more about us
Here at Blackstone Farm we passionate about the Clydesdale horses. Our heroes, there ancestors, worked the land to keep us fed, fought in wars to seep us safe, and were there to pick us up when we were down.
We are not a charity but we are fundraising because of the devastating effects of the Corona Virus and Lockdown are having on us. Closing our gates to guests on 22nd March we lost all our revenue to fund the Clydesdales future and without your help, will will struggle to survive through to next winter.
We require the spring and summer income to support the Clydesdales through the winter in their forever home. As a 4th generation working highland beef farm with 29 Clydesdales, 1 Percheron, Bob the bore, Bubbles the donkey, Carlos and Hayden the Alpaca boys, and all our feathered friends, we just cant walk away and return when the crisis is over.
We opened Blackstone centre with one mission to share our passion and promote the workhorse of the world as ridden horses, where guests could see for themselves the versatility and magic of the Clydesdale Horse who can ride, drive, log, work on land and give comfort to those who need it, this also secured their future, a win win in anybody's book.
The Clydesdale Horse is a rare Scottish breed on the rare breeds survival trust [RBST] watch list as vulnerable with estimated 500-900 breeding mares, we are proud to be contributing towards increasing the numbers at Blackstone Farm with our breeding program then again we have 9 Clydesdales who are fully retired due to aged and health issues.
We offer guests from all over the world the opportunity to come and ride, drive, work, cuddle and visit the babies when they arrive, an experience for
any age or ability, and unique to every person.
Our volunteers are just as passionate about Clydesdales as we are, which makes us blessed to have as many unsung heroes who love the Clydesdale Horses at the farm.
Any funds raised will be used solely towards the health, welfare, shoeing, feed and bedding of the Clydesdales.
We require a minimum of £5000 per month we are closed due to lock down, we are both humbled by our support so far which will cover Aprils bills. Other than donating money you can also help by purchasing vouchers for that special someone which can be used next year, or you can support the Clydesdales through our adoption or fostering program, where all details can be found on our website. www.blackstoneclydesdales.co.uk
