A unique, special theatre project

The Black Dog Theatre Creation is a special theatre group which aims at using performance skills to support people suffering from poor confidence and mental health issues. Now in its fourth year it is slowly growing and is building its reputation as being a wonderful, positive and highly successful group. We develop small projects, workshops and performances. Our projects are free to access and open to all.

We understand that times are tight financially and for many of our members they cannot afford much so we offer all our service free so that we can reach as many people as possible. This does mean that we rely heavily upon funding from organisations such as the Arts Council and fundraising from events such as our annual sponsored walk.

We are now looking at ways of promoting the work that we do to reach more people in need. One of the ways which we are hoping to do this is by purchasing a roller-display banner which can be displayed in different libraries and used at events to spread the word. If you can afford to donate anything to help us to purchase one we would be extremely grateful and with your permission, your name will be displayed on our website as one of our sponsors of the banner.
