Story

My name is Angelin; I Recently joined the NHS trust in London as a staff nurse. A week after my arrival, I was out of breath and had severe haemoptysis due to blood clots in my lungs and was hospitalised for nearly two months in a local hospital. Doctors did their evaluation, and they referred me to Royal Papworth Hospital a month later and surgically (Pulmonary thromboendarterectomy) removed the clots on May 21st, 2022. After my surgery, I also experienced subdural hematoma and had to undergo a burr hole to remove the brain's bleed. The total hospital stay again was nearly 45 days, and I am now advised to stay at home for three months to make a full recovery. Additionally, I am on antibiotics as my wound on the surgery site got infected. As I have surpassed my sick pay limits from my trust, I will need some financial support to meet my living expenses from rent, groceries, and travel for the next three months (July, August, and September).

If you could support Angelin in meeting her day to day expenses while she is recovering would be a great help for the family.

Thanking you in advance
