Story

We are moving to a new building!

It is on the first floor and currently does not have disabled access or a facilities.

We have had a couple of quotes for installing the toilet, building the toilet room, and fitting a stair lift.

We want to make the new venue as access friendly as we can. This means fitting a stair lift, which will enable those who can't manage stairs to access the first floor and installing a disabled access toilet.

This is not a cheap project so we are asking for help funding it from the community.

Please give generously and help those gamers who need it to have the same great experience you are able to have at BIG

I will be updating this page in due course with a breakdown of estimated costs, and information on what would happen if we raise more than is needed

The estimate for the Stair lift is currently £1320

Disabled Access (DOCM) Wash room Pack (Toilet, sink, grab rails Alarm Kit System is Colostomy shelf door sign, soap dispenser £540.60

Plumbing estimated at £1935,

Disabled Access Pocket door £631.13 GBP

Anti-slip Flooring £175

Door furniture £30.42

Electrician for stair lift power point and alarm TBC

Materials for building the walls TBC

Wall coverings TBC

This brings us to a total of £4632.15 before the unconfirmed items

If we happen to raise more than needed I would love to be able to get a adjustable height table, the best one I have found so far costs around £700, the cheapest around £300
