Story
Beyond The Canon Website #BTCWritersRoom comes in light of the many students who are missing out on mainstream education due to COVID-19. It’s simply our way of showing solidarity at this time - letting them know that they are valued, seen and appreciated as well as promote and Champion hidden plays.
It is also our way to encourage students to use this time to learn something new – so that they can come out of the pandemic empowered, enlightened and inspired. As the next Beyond The Canon generation of artists and leaders, it is essential that they have a broader perspective of the canon, especially work by POC playwrights.
The Beyond The Canon team are working on this initiative on a voluntary basis. Your donation will support us to post the book donations to students in the UK and across the world. No amount is too big or too small.
Thank you in advance for your support, encouragement and endorsement.
