Story

'Eyup! It's no secret to anyone who follows me or knows me that I suffer greatly with depression and other mental health issues. So I want to host a mental health awareness stream and raise money for two charities which are extremely important to me.

Cruse Bereavement Care give free bereavement counselling to people who are dealing with the aftermath of death. I'm currently going through counselling with Cruse, the death of my Grandma and having witnessed her death was a huge factor in my breakdown and being able to talk about it with people who understand is immeasurably helpful.

Mind are a charity who help anyone struggling with mental health issues. They do amazing work helping people understand what they are feeling and also understanding that recovery is possible.

Both these charities are amazing at what they do and deserve any help and support we can offer. I want to split money equally between them, hence the reason for a joint fundraiser.

I am also raising awareness for MindMate Leeds. MindMate are a local charity who give advice and support to young people who either may not understand what they are feeling or who are aware that they need help to deal with their mental health issues.

The stream will take place at twitch.tv/bethanyannlily on September 30th 12 midday until 12 midnight. Any support would be amazing, and if you feel like any of the organisations I've mentioned could help you, then please, reach out.

Thank you.
