I've raised £1000 to help fund the Gryphons Abroad Project.

In July next year I am travelling to South Africa - as part of the Gryphons Abroad Project - to help children who live in one of the most deprived areas of the world.
The project has 2 main aims, which we will fulfil throughout our time there:
1.) To inspire through sport and education - we will work with over 100 children at various primary schools and teach them leadership skills, sports activities and classroom lessons.
2.) Cycle to success - most children have to walk 2 hours to school which can be dangerous and also a barrier to their education. Whilst being in South Africa, we will teach the children how to ride a bike, maintain it and also provide them with a bike of their own so they can get to and from school.
There is a 90% unemployment rate, and 1 in 3 adults are infected with HIV/ AIDS. Providing education and leadership skills will help to improve the employability of children who live in such a deprived area, and give them every chance they need in trying to improve their quality of life.
Anything donated, no matter how small, will make such a huge difference to the lives of the children in South Africa and help to provide them with what we take for granted every day.
Thank You.
