I've raised £3388 to ensure Nyingtob Ling is warm and dry this winter - and you did it! £3022 (less fees) here + £697 direct to the bank = £3642 net THANK YOU!

The Appeal closes at midnight.THANK YOU SO MUCH for your support.
This is the Temple at NYINGTOB LING, a residential centre named by His Holiness The Dalai Lama, it means REALM OF COURAGE. It was founded nearly twenty years ago by Mrs Nawang Lhamo to help uprooted Tibetan families cope with children who have mental health and learning difficulties, and physical disabilities. It has grown into a beautiful set of buildings and garden, offering compassion, stimulation, and education to the fifty people living here. The traditions, culture and Buddhism of Tibet are part of everyday life at Nyingtob Ling. The recent monsoon brought floods and damage to the fabric of the Project. Many of the bedrooms are damp with leaking roofs and wall plaster is falling apart both inside and out. Fixing the roof cracks of the boys and girls accommodation is costing £944, and the crumbling plaster indoors £500. Fixing the exterior walls costs £833 and then to paint the whole hostel costs £1111. The funds that NYINGTOB LING receives from the Indian Government does not cover this sort of emergency. But we HAVE stepped in! Your donations totalling £3719 also cover the Just Giving fees and bank transfers. THANK YOU.
Our appeal closes at midnight - Everyone at Nyingtob Ling is grateful. Watch your inbox or Berni's Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/berni.cavanagh for photos of the repairs!
Here's someone who is benefitting from your generosity:
Yeshi was 16 when she came to live at NYINGTOB LING. Before that, she ran away from home and was on the streets. Now, she calls NYINGTOB LING home, she is a skilled crafts woman and has friends and a future.
